We have experience in a great range of issues involving municipalities, including zoning and planning, litigation, labor, environmental, construction, drafting of ordinances, resolutions and policies, ordinance enforcement, licensing issues, agreements, police and fire, prosecution, public works issues, eminent domain and all other general municipal matters. We have served municipalities and governmental agencies in varying capacities, including as general counsel or special counsel.
In addition, we also represent private citizens, developers and organizations in matters involving municipalities and/or municipal officials, zoning and planning, eminent domain, ordinance

Premises Liability Defense
Premise Liability can arise from alleged defects on land or in buildings as well as claims against owners of property, for injuries occurring on property. We represent governmental agencies, their insurer and homeowners, to defend against these claims. Our litigation team is familiar with this area of the law and is experienced with retaining and defending against experts for typically used in premises liability claims.
Zoning Disputes & Conditional Rezoning Agreements
As counsel for several Macomb County municipalities we represent our clients when real estate developers seek to rezone properties for development or when requesting variances or certain uses for their properties. We assist our municipal clients with conditional rezoning agreements, and defend our clients when lawsuits or appeals are filed when zoning, variance or certain land uses are denied by the municipalities.
